Community Relations and Grant Coordinator
Donnette Ellis is the Community Relations and Grant Coordinator in the Office of Community Partnerships, Planning, and Research. She leads efforts to promote community engagement opportunities, showcase Âé¶¹¹Ù꿉۪s role in community vitality, and reinforce a culture of positive campus-community engagement. She coordinates Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø's community giving programs to enrich local quality of life, build nonprofit capacity, and support community partners. Examples include the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Community Mini-grant Program, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø donations and sponsorships, and the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Employee Volunteer Initiative Program. She is also the main contact for general office management and reservations for the Katherine Howell Weingart '61 Civic Innovation Pavilion in Renfrow Hall and serves on Staff Council.
Donnette serves as the Treasurer of the Friends of Drake Community Library Board, an application reviewer for the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø-Newburg School Foundation, and also for the Theisen's Family Foundation. She is a lifetime Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøian and loves spending time with her family. In her free time, she loves to read, traveling to the Denver area to spend time with her granddaughter, and walk her fur baby, Seymour.
